St Ives High Street

The town has two post offices - the main office on Tregenna Hill and a sub-post office at the end of Fore Street.

Both offer the usual postal and financial services and stock a range of stationery, cards, holiday souvenirs and gifts. The main office also offers foreign currency exchange.

St Ives - Main Post Office

This is in the centre of town on Gabriel Street.

As well as (obviously) books they offer a host of other services including talking books, DVDs, newspapers, Internet, scanning, printing and copying.

They also host events and groups including talks by authors, readers groups, storytime for children, local history group, art exhibitions and St Ives Knitting Group.

Visitors to St Ives can borrow books - you can exchange your local library card for a holiday library card for the duration of your stay.

St Ives Library

Our beautiful parish church overlooks St Ives Harbour and is dedicated to Celtic saint St Ia.

It is bult of Cornish granite and the tower is one of the most visible landmarks in town - standing at over eighty feet, one of the tallest in Cornwall.

The church is open daily and welcomes visitors. You can join them for daily and Sunday worship.

The church website has details of services. They are also licenced for weddings and baptisms in St Ives.

St Ives Parish Church

The Stennack Surgery is a large practice offering a range of medical services.

It is on The Stennack and has some parking, but only a short walk from the town centre.

As well as GP surgeries they offer a minor injuries service, minor surgery clinic, vaccinations and advice about various health issues..
